A Summer Night

There was a night when I was young, all the birds had stopped sing, the bees stopped their buzzing, and most quire of all he was here. I’m not saying that that was a bad thing but I was in 7th grade at the time, you were in 8th, I have always seen the way you looked at me as we pass in the hall, I can’t say I wasn’t staring because that is how I noticed you starring back. The thing that was odd about you being here is that you chose such an eerie night. But he holds you tight and whispers in my ear
“it’s ok now I’m here.”
I believed him as the world would with his perfect brown hair to match his hazel eyes, and with the click of a button he got us a ride. At first I wasn’t sure what I should do but I was there just with you. As we ate in the restaurant a quarter after eight, he looks over and all I can do is stare into his eyes. They are to beautiful to resist and he asked if I was ok because I look a little hot, that was his pick-up line that he didn’t need to use because he already had me hooked, like a fish trying to get a worm, but I couldn’t help it he is the last to my forever as we will, last forever.
